Brilliant high quality product

Unreliable! It turns itself off at random when stationary even though I have it set for 30mins. Have wanted to move off quickly due to hazards and found it has turned itself off. This is potentially dangerous. Segway had it for 5 weeks and couldn't fix problem. They sent it back minus the original box I sent it in. Beware! Segway can't be trusted.

As an older rider I'd give it 3-4 stars due to it fulfilling all my daily commute ride requirements bar one. The lack of throttle control at lower speeds using the DRIVE MODE makes it very tricky and a bit dangerous to move through slower traffic and pedestrian areas as it becomes jerky and can move from zero speed to fast with a small movement of the throttle. This issue has not been addressed in Australia with the recent software update. So the rider needs to constantly move from ECO MODE with its slower and wider throttle band range for slower traffic, to DRIVE or SPORT mode for faster moving traffic. This will likely be a deal breaker for some, but I will persevere with the issue as I love everything else about it. I would warn others about this if asked as it is potentially dangerous. I, and I imagine others, look forward to Segway fixing this in the next software update. It can't be that hard. Apart from this, thank you for developing such a brilliant machine.

Best overall scooter hands down!

I’m not exaggerating, but this is the greatest electric scooter that’s ever been made. It’s the best mix of versatility, speed, comfort, and just fun. This was 100% single-handedly the best purchase I’ve made, because of its amazing technology, its strong and robust design, its amazing bright lcd screen with the easy controls, and the super bright AUTOMATIC headlight!! I have a full car that doesn’t even do that and I didn’t think scooters could even do that!! But the underglow with the blinkers integrated just makes the scooter so much cleaner and it makes it much safer to use on the road. The only flaw I have on this scooter is the range. If you’re just riding around the neighborhood or going down to the store and back, you’ll be okay. But if you’re planning to run a good amount of errands around a fairly big city, you’re going to want to be cautious of your percentage, because it goes down faster than the 25 mile estimate they give you. But, they’ve pretty much fixed that issue with the external battery, so that’s my next purchase, whenever it restocks that is????!! All in all, this is a great daily commuter scooter for closer transportation and just cruising at a good speed for a while. I definitely recommend this to anyone of any level, whether it’s a starter to electric scooters, or experienced pros. This is a scooter that appeals to everyone, no matter the level you’re at. ????????????????????????????

I have no buyers remorse whatsoever. I bought 2 and there was a few issues early on. I would like to point out Segway on a very timely manner took care of all issues. Segway is a great company that responds in a timely manner. Thank you Segway fir making me a customer for life. I truly appreciate the company you are. I truly have faith and confidence in you.

I have not been dissapointed with my purchase. It has met all of my expectations and exceeded a few. I love the power and the absorption of imperfections found on the roadway. If I were to make a complaint. . . . . it would be setting the lock. . . . other than that I am quite pleased with my purchase. I had purchased a scooter before the purchase of my Segway. . . . . . it lasted 3 days before I returned it.

A very well engineered scooter

This scooter feels like a significant step up from my old Ninebot. I am a happy commuter! I now enjoy faster, smoother, and much longer rides. Of course, it’s also heavier and bulkier, which can make carrying it around a bit more challenging. While all the details and in-depth reviews are available online, I recommend trying one out for yourself before making a decision to buy.

I really like the scooter but there are some things you can fix is when I wanna change my startup sound it does not let me it says it fails I don't really care about that tho I like the scooter and the locking function a huge step up from the gotrax rival for sure maybe once u did those issues I will be happy otherwise 5 stars.

Hello , The Segway Max G3 is one of the best , safest , most reliable E-scooters on the market , with all the over whelming amout of scooters out there none of them compare to Segway. Thank you for making such a incredible product !

This is the best blend for an electric scooter. I already had a a Max and a Megatron GT2. This is the best combination of speed, technology and I can easily fold it and carry it up a flight of stairs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I have been loving my new scooter. It has made my commute to work significantly quicker. I used to have to worry about bumps and sewers on the roads in Chicago, but not on this glorious piece of machinery. I love all of the different features to play around with. It is also nice to be the fastest person in the bike lanes. Most of the time I am going faster in the cars as they are sitting in the Chicago traffic!

Very smooth ride! Love the hydraulic shocks and disc brakes! This thing is fun to ride. :)

Very sturdy and reliable. Rode in the rain with zero issues and even got hit by a card and walked away with barely any scratches. Super durable. You can get a faster scooter for the price, but the build quality here is just superior.

Scooter is a reliable commuting machine. No regrets!

I have ridden a good amount of scooters and so did my ex gf. We both can agree that these are not only easy to use, they are very comfortable and very capable. Depending on your weight im a larger man the battery doesn't last as well but thats too be expected. It's not too far off but the range is still pretty amazing and the setup and charging times are also really reasonable. Additionally all the specs that you can customize really make the scooters feel personalized and the app is also pretty easy to use as well.

I have had a lot of great times with this scooter ! Every time I go it is a new adventure. Has always worked perfect and updates have helped it to perform better
